According to the Polish regulations, for any item printed prior to the 31st December 1948 to be exported from Poland, an export permit must be obtained from Poland\'s National Library.We can handle this procedure for you and it will take up to 3 weeks. A 25% export tax must be paid. This law was passed when Poland joined the EU in 2004 (so much for the free exchange of goods and services) and, much to our regret, it has recently started to be strictly observed.
